The Common App is one application that can be used to apply to over 1,000 Common App member colleges throughout the world. Filling out one main application allows the student to apply to multiple colleges at once. The Application Guide for First-Year Students can be found here. When students create a Common App account, their Bridgeway Academy advisor should be added as their Common App Counselor. The Counselor in the Common App is the only person able to access and answer specific questions on the application and upload transcripts for the student. Students can also list their parents, teachers from whom they want recommendations, other recommenders, and other advisors (who for the Common App cannot submit forms but can only check on the application progress). Therefore, if the student wants Bridgeway to upload transcripts and required forms, they must name their Bridgeway Academy advisor as their Common App Counselor. If you have any questions during the application process, don’t hesitate to ask your Bridgeway Academy advisor for help.
