When a student is seeking to earn a letter grade for an external Art course rather than a Pass/Fail, we can consider awarding a letter grade if they submit additional documentation and/or complete additional work. Below are a rubric for evaluating letter grade, with various options for evidence of work completion and associated grading criteria, as well as a research paper rubric, if that is one of the ways the student is seeking letter grade credit.
